Theme 3: Light - The Artist

When the darkness surrounds you
And all hope is lost
I'll carry you through
The world, covered with frost

In the distance I can see the light
I will not stop for anyone
It gives me strength so I can fight
So my work wont be undone

The brightness grows bigger
With each step I take
Until someone pulls the trigger
And I begin to shake

I will not fall
I will not fail
My strength begins to stall
My skin gets cold and pale

I wont give up now
I'm so close to the light
I will show you how
I will be your knight

I will chase away the dark
To ignite the fire of your heart
I only need a spark
This will be my work of art

The light gets brighter and brighter
As I get closer and closer
My chest gets tighter and tighter
I am the page and you are the composer
